[01] — Our beginning
A note from our founder The best products start with people who care enough to build them right.
Inscale began with a question from our founder, Shad Khan: what if a small team could bring the same care to your product that you bring to your business?
As an engineer and product builder, Shad saw a gap between having an idea and finding a team that could truly own it. Founders were navigating separate design, development, and delivery teams. The work moved forward, but the product vision often got lost between handoffs.
He started Inscale to close that gap. A focused studio where designers and engineers work together from the first conversation to the first release, and stay involved as the product grows. A team that asks better questions, understands the business, and takes responsibility for what ships.
Today, that idea shapes how we help founders: clear product thinking, considered design, strong engineering, and practical AI. We keep the team close to the problem, so every decision brings the product closer to the people it’s built for.

Respect the people using the product and the people building it. Listen carefully, make room for different perspectives, and build trust through the way we work.
Think like a partner, not a task taker. Understand the problem, challenge assumptions, and take responsibility for the product long after a ticket is closed.
Make the details count. Write code that lasts, design interactions that feel right, and choose the simplest solution that truly solves the problem.
There is always a better question to ask. Experiment with new ideas, share what we learn, and use technology, including AI, when it makes the product better.
